Shipping & Delivery Policy
Thank you for visiting and shopping at The Roman Catholic Store. We are proud to ship our products directly from the United States. Our goal is to get your Catholic goods into your hands as quickly and safely as possible.
1. Estimated Shipping Times & Carriers
Once your order leaves our warehouse, here is when you can generally expect it to arrive:

Standard Shipping: 5–7 Business Days

Expedited Shipping: 2–3 Business Days

Carriers: We use UPS Ground, USPS First Class, USPS Priority, UPS 2nd Day Air, and FedEx 2-Day.
Please Note: These timeframes are estimates provided by the carriers and are not guarantees. Actual delivery dates may vary due to weather, carrier volume, or operational issues.
2. Order Processing & Cutoff Times
We work hard to process your order the moment it comes in!

Same-Day Processing: Orders placed before 11:00 AM Central Time (Monday–Friday) usually enter the shipping stream that same business day.

After 11:00 AM: Orders placed after 11:00 AM CT will begin processing the next business day.

Weekends & Holidays: Our warehouse team rests on weekends and major US holidays. Orders placed during these times will be processed the following business day.

High Volume Periods: During peak seasons (like Advent or Lent), shipments may be delayed by a few days. If there is a significant delay, we will do our best to notify you.
3. Production Time (Made-to-Order Items)
Some of our special items (such as printed mugs, apparel, or custom items) are made just for you!

Production vs. Shipping: These items have a production time separate from the shipping time.

Please refer to the specific Product Page for details. If your order includes a made-to-order item, the entire order will ship once that item is ready.
4. Address Accuracy & Undeliverable Packages
To ensure we can ship your items quickly, our system is fully automated. This means we ship to the exact address entered at checkout.

Customer Responsibility: Please verify your address, apartment number, and zip code carefully before submitting your order. We do not manually validate or "fix" addresses.

Changes & Cancellations: Because orders sync instantly with our warehouse, we often cannot edit an address or cancel an order once it is placed. Even if you email us immediately, the order may already be in the fulfillment queue. Please contact us anyway and we will try our best to make the requested change.

Undeliverable / Incorrect Addresses: If a package cannot be delivered due to an incorrect, incomplete, or invalid address provided by the customer:

If Returned to Us: If and when the carrier successfully returns the package to our warehouse, we will issue a refund for the item(s) minus the original shipping cost and a restocking fee of up to 20%.

If Not Returned (Lost/Discarded/Stuck): If the package is lost, stuck in transit, or discarded by the carrier due to the incorrect address, we cannot issue a refund or replacement. The customer assumes full financial responsibility for the loss if the package is not returned to our facility.

5. Expedited Shipping & Carrier Delays
We trust our carriers to deliver on time, but sometimes issues arise that are out of our control.

Non-Refundable Shipping Fees: If you pay for Expedited Shipping and the package is delayed by the carrier (UPS/FedEx/USPS), shipping fees are non-refundable. These funds are paid directly to the carrier for the service, and we cannot recover them.

Refusal of Delivery: If a package arrives late and you choose to refuse delivery, this will be treated as a standard return, and return shipping costs may be deducted from your refund.
6. Shipment Confirmation & Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing your tracking number(s) once your order has shipped. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking number to become active in the carrier's system.
7. Missing Packages
If your tracking says "Delivered" but you can’t find your package:

Check Surroundings: Please check with neighbors or look for hidden spots (porches, bushes) where the driver might have left it for safety.

Contact Us: If it is still missing after 24 hours, please contact our support team. We will assist you with the next steps to help resolve the issue.
8. Shipping Locations

Domestic: We ship to all U.S. addresses and U.S. Territories.

PO Boxes & Military: We happily ship to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

Customs & Duties: For international orders (if applicable), The Roman Catholic Store is not responsible for any customs duties or taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer.
9. Damages & Exceptions

Damaged Items: If your package arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at info@theromancatholicstore.com. We will work with you to resolve the issue quickly.

Our Errors: If an error is caused by The Roman Catholic Store (e.g., we sent the wrong item), we will fix the issue and ensure you get your correct items at no additional cost.
